2013 Recap: Sewing for Me
I wouldn't feel complete without rounding up all of my own handmade garments from 2013, so that's what I have for you today! My grey dress is still looking at me balefully from the sewing table, and at this point, who knows if it'll get done. Happy New Year!
It's here! The new year! I'm a little sad to see 2013 go because despite some tough moments which are inevitable in life, it was so fabulous in innumerable ways. But I sense that 2014 may be even better. We rang in the year quietly with just the four of us: me, K, M and my mom (well, not too quietly since we live near one of the major fireworks site in Seattle), and it was a perfect way to end a rollicking twelve months. So much for not posting daily. I was trying to cut myself some slack, but when I spent time thinking about this past year, I realized that one of my favorite parts of it was blogging.
