Adieu Seattle, for a week! Hello Indianapolis! Must rush to get about a jillion things done, so just a short haiku today:
Have a great weekend,
I’ll be out of town next week
Spotty postings, yes?
I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to post next week. I did, of course, have plans to schedule posts in advance, but the best laid plans…well, they weren’t laid out so well. At any rate, I’ll try!
And whoa, look who got a sleek bob:
She’s looking very chic, especially with her new sandals that we found on sale:
Bring on the Midwest humidity!
WOW! What a look. Very elegant, young lady! Wishing you the best trip!
Thanks so much Marit! We had the easiest, smoothest flights and the traveling went really well. K was not only looking awesome, but was a champion traveller!
Happy holidays, mother of a very chic daughter! And do not worry about posting!
Thanks Ute! You know me, I can’t help but be a creature of habit, though the sewing will have to take a major hiatus during my vacation.
Love her hair! Definitely suits her! Have you gotten any weird comments about it yet? When I took my daughter to have hers cut off (like she’d been asking) the hairdresser tried to talk me out of it! lol!
So far the response has been universally positive, but we were surprised that she wanted it cut so short. The woman who cut her hair was actually pretty excited about the bob — she did a great job!
You take lovely photos!! K’s hair looks wonderful.
Thank you Greta! I’m trying really hard to improve my photography, but there’s just so much to learn…I just got a nice 50mm lens though, and I think that’s helping!
Love that bob!
Super cute, right? K loves it too!
A chic hairdo ready for the travel. You are too kind to your readers. I’m already practicing on how to survive a week without your posts. Take it easy on yourself, lady.
Thanks, Jing! At this point, the weekday postings are so ingrained I automatically start planning them!
We’ll see how I do…
Eek! Squealing over here with glee over K’s new haircut! love, LOVE. Man, your already uber chic, stylish daughter just raised the bar for all the other 8 yr olds:)
Have a wonderful, wonderful trip tomorrow and for the week in Indy. Posting should really not be on your radar, unless of course you miss us too much:) Though we will all miss you, we also want to think of you relaxing and enjoying this week with family. And gathering creative mojo for future sewing adventures:)
Thank you, Lucinda! K’s haircut makes her look so much older, it’s been throwing me off. It’s funny how a few inches can make such a diference!
