Happy Friday! Actually, we've been having a not so happy end of the week. K suddenly fell ill again and at school yesterday, she threw up. I'm feeling like my parenting license (if I had one) should be revoked for sending her to school in the first place. She seems better now, but I'm now on high alert because she seemed fine before the incident. The guilt of "I should have known better!" Sad face. Like the illo ... Read more

Secondly, the announcement of the Halloween-y Fabrics giveaway: random generator number #12, Niki! Congrats, and you should have received an email from me already. I loved the Walter White costume idea, though yes, I agree that it's probably an eyebrow-raiser for a ... Read more

I'm going to babble on for a while today, so don't feel obliged, or you might want to pour yourself a hot beverage and settle in... "I always feel like I have to be perfect," a friend told me quietly the other day, matter-of-fact, and I bobbled my head in wholehearted agreement. For as long as I can remember, there's been a perfect version of me lurking in the back of my mind - ... Read more
