Happy Friday! A random arrows doodle I drew yesterday. And if you were in our house, these are the conversations you would have overheard:
M: [to K] Doesn’t Mommy look hot, honey?*
K: [putting hand on my forehead] Nope. She’s normal.
*It’s awesome to have a husband who makes you feel attractive even after 13 years together (especially when you’re sporting an old flannel shirt and bags under your eyes). For the moment, we’ll set aside the question of appropriateness in terms of asking your daughter whether her mother is hot.
*******************************************************************************
K: Mommy, I wish humans were seeds. Then I could plant one and get a baby. When I’m forty. When you’re dead.
Me: …….um….
*****************************************************************************
Here’s to hoping that the special people in your life think you’re hot and that they’re not predicting your demise. Speaking of funny conversations with kids, this is brilliant. I leave you with my weekly haiku and another random little illustration – have a wonderful weekend, friends, I’ll be back with an outfit on Monday!

Let me tell you, Lucinda, it took every ounce of willpower for me not to burst out laughing when she said that. I really want to record these exchanges regularly because I forget them so easily.

That is so funny…. Kids are awesome 🙂
