Good morning, friends, I hope you had a lovely weekend! The weather was incredible here in Seattle, and we got to enjoy some outdoorsy fun including a birthday party at a farm (well, at least M and K did while I ran errands). I have long been a fan of the Scandinavian design and aesthetic. Say what you will about IKEA, but I think so many of their products look sharp, and I love that they're usually wallet-friendly even if they don't always stand the test of time. Happy Friday + Randomness
Happy Friday! First of all, I'm still in a daze from all the amazing comments these past few days - I believe the world's kindest, smartest and awesomest people read my blog. Thank you. For as long as I can remember, there's been a perfect version of me lurking in the back of my mind - ... Read more
Halloween Plans + Giveaway [CLOSED]
October! I can't believe it. One minute I'm going on and on about summer on the cusp of ending and now it's full-blown autumn. The first day of October always compels me to start thinking about Halloween, and this year K has requested an owl costume. What you see here is the second ever Halloween costume I made in 2008 (I talked about the first here), and this one was sewn with a proper sewing machine using jersey knit and mesh. It was a right mess. Batgirl, just in case it's not obvious. ... Read more
