This is K when she was about 2. I had made this suspender dress from this book and was thinking about making it again so I unearthed these images. I was then pummeled with nostalgia. Do you see those curls? I loved her curls. Shortly after this photo was taken, her hair started to grow out straighter, pushing the spiral tendrils toward the bottom - business on top, party on the bottom. Fall Color Story
Despite the fact that summer is winding down, our evenings are full of impromptu al fresco dinners and picnics at the park lately. I've been planning K's fall wardrobe and noticed that the fabric I've started to assemble for the massive sewing project seem to match the colors from one of our outdoor dinners. Sort of a perfect day
A collage from my day today...it was close to perfection. - Running around the rose garden, K trying to read all the monikers; "French Perfume" (above) was my favorite. It smelled oh-so-chic. - Taking a leisurely walk from the zoo back home. Snapping pix with my iphone. Lots of red: love the GMC bus (there was a futon in the back!), the bright crimson shop, a random "free" sign on a street. The text on the lower right says "Reds one".
