Happy Friday! Actually, we've been having a not so happy end of the week. K suddenly fell ill again and at school yesterday, she threw up. I'm feeling like my parenting license (if I had one) should be revoked for sending her to school in the first place. She seems better now, but I'm now on high alert because she seemed fine before the incident. The guilt of "I should have known better!" Sad face. Like the illo …

Good Food
A couple of months ago, I talked about my newfound love of green juice. I'm happy to report that I've been imbibing chock-full of vitamins and nutrients in liquid form every day for the past seventy days, and I tell you, it's changed my life. I've even got M and K drinking the stuff, and we feel so much healthier. On the rare days I can't start off my day with a tall glass of green juice, I can tell a major difference in my mood and physical well-being. I've got a whole system down and keep a …
Happy Friday + Randomness

I've always been pathological about meeting deadlines and following-through, but lately...hmmmmmmmmmm. Let's just say I'm working on getting back on track. Maybe …
Homes in a row
An illustration I made according to K's instructions. She wanted a row of houses/buildings all leading to a lake, and insisted upon an airplane in the air. I love a child's mind, with the leaps of logic, the whimsical ideas. I'm trying to paint and draw more - I've been sewing so much that I fear that I might be forgetting how to draw. Would you believe that in a week, this little blog will turn one? A whole year. I started it initially to create regular illustrations and general crafts, and …
