I made these for a couple of friends as holiday gifts. I&#8217;ve used the yellow fabric for K&#8217;s top <a title=\"Monday Outfit: Koi Top + Grey Stretch Pants\" href=\"http:\/\/sanaeishida.com\/?p=8131\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>, and the indigo one for a <a title=\"Sewing for Me: Indigo Ikat Dress\" href=\"http:\/\/sanaeishida.com\/?p=5409\" target=\"_blank\">dress for me<\/a>. I referenced the excellent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.noodle-head.com\/2012\/06\/open-wide-zippered-pouch-diy-tutorial.html\" target=\"_blank\">open wide zippered pouch tutorial<\/a> by the fabulous Anna of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.noodle-head.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Noodlehead<\/a>. These are so easy and handy to have. Genius! Come to think of it, my pencil case is looking raggedy these days&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and I&#8217;m pleased to be able to finally say that I&#8217;m fully on the mend! With the aid of the immunity soup, astragalus (thank you, Rachel!), and enough water to keep me tethered to the loo, I managed to drag my body to the gym for the first time in weeks yesterday. Hoorah! The Charlie Chaplin mustache-shaped bruise is still prominent, but concealers are a marvel of modern cosmetics.
