Let&#8217;s talk rompers for a minute. I love the <em>idea<\/em> of it, and think they are beyond adorable and so nostalgic. It seems like it would be so convenient as an all-in-one outfit like a dress, but the reality is that K would plop the whole thing down onto the floor of some grotesque public bathroom (because doesn&#8217;t it always happen that way?), and then happily wear it for the rest of the day without a care in the world, smearing unspeakable elements onto me as she covers me with hugs and kisses. I&#8217;ve also mentioned that the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.jp\/gp\/product\/4529050696\/ref=s9_simh_gw_p14_d7_i4?pf_rd_m=AN1VRQENFRJN5&amp;pf_rd_s=center-2&amp;pf_rd_r=00JPN6TBQKNSKJ95AEKW&amp;pf_rd_t=101&amp;pf_rd_p=463376756&amp;pf_rd_i=489986\" target=\"_blank\">book<\/a>\u00a0was from Frances of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.missmatatabi.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Miss Matatabi<\/a> (thank you Frances!!) so today&#8217;s outfit has been all about using patterns that were generously bestowed and I&#8217;m feeling quite incredulous and chuffed, as the British say (I have a good friend who&#8217;s a Brit, and I know that she would find it hilarious that I&#8217;m mangling her terminologies). It was my first time using a digital pattern, and truly, it was so painless. The construction process is virtually the same as the Japanese one, but I like that Heidi&#8217;s version has a little more length.
