The cherry blossoms are waltzing in the winds here in Seattle and my allergies are alive and kicking too. The pollen app tells me that Birch, Ash and Juniper are active right now, and I suspect that Birch is the main source of the symptoms. Fortunately, the snuffling and sneezing seem milder this year.<\/p>\n<p>I should be allergy-free by April 30th, the day of my <a href=\"https:\/\/tatter.org\/events\/hitomezashi-embroidery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">next Tatter class<\/a>! I\u2019ll be guiding folks through the slightly lesser known version of Japanese Sashiko Embroidery called Hitomezashi. Hitomezashi translates to \u201csingle stitch\u201d or \u201cone stitch\u201d and the patterns look more complicated than they are \u2014 in fact, the method is quite easy. I\u2019m currently working on additional samplers and bonus material, which I\u2019m loving.
