I don&#8217;t know why, but I tend to avoid the color red &#8212; maybe it&#8217;s because it&#8217;s my mom&#8217;s favorite color and I OD&#8217;d on it growing up. It&#8217;s a great hue on K, though, and I should make more outfits in this color. I&#8217;m not sure how the red is coming across on your screen, but this is a deep crimson with blue undertones.<\/p>\n<p>In lieu of sugary treats, I told her I would make her a dress, so K and I browsed through my out-of-control <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/suneye\/mini-fashion\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mini Fashion Pinterest board<\/a> for ideas, and she liked this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jcrew.com\/girls_feature\/NewArrivals\/weddingsparties\/PRDOVR~38001\/38001.jsp\" target=\"_blank\">one<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-14804\" src=\"http:\/\/sanaeishida.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/jcrewdress.jpg\" alt=\"jcrewdress\" width=\"800\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sanaeishida.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/jcrewdress.jpg 800w, https:\/\/sanaeishida.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/jcrewdress-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sanaeishida.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/jcrewdress-768x480.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>She also selected the fabric, but sadly, I didn&#8217;t have quite enough to replicate the dress though I did my best to accommodate. Thank goodness she gave it\u00a0a thumb&#8217;s up. It&#8217;s actually comfy, totally customized and the Valentine girl feels fancy.
